Pure 100% mulberry silk of the highest grade, 6A, is made from the fibres that are spun from a silkworms cocoon before turning into a moth. This labour intensive process of harvesting the silk fibres is what makes silk so luxurious and expensive.
Sourcing silk from manufacturers that grow and feed silkworms exclusively from mulberry trees is how we control quality.
